Kovati Docs

Structure

Kovati, MetaWorx, Blackcode and Colony Origins — which entity does what.

Documented in depth

Four names appear around this product, and flattening them into one would be wrong in at least one place that matters legally. So, precisely:

What it is
KovatiThe company and the brand. Automation Forge is its product.
MetaWorx LLCFounded Kovati. Holds all the IP and all business transactions. Copyright follows the IP, so © MetaWorx LLC.
Blackcode SASwiss. Backs Kovati, and runs the cloud infrastructure the account sits on today.
Colony OriginsThe Unreal Engine production Automation Forge is built and proven inside, before anything ships.

Two companies back Kovati: MetaWorx LLC and Blackcode SA. Not three.

Where your account data actually sits

This is a legal fact about whose cloud account holds the records, not a branding choice, and it does not follow the logo.

Today the data controller is Blackcode SA, because the infrastructure runs on Blackcode's account. That is temporary — the infrastructure moves to Kovati's own, and the controller becomes MetaWorx on the same day.

We are saying so here rather than letting it change quietly, because a privacy claim that is technically true and practically stale is exactly the kind of thing this company has decided not to do. The authoritative version is always the privacy page.

Colony Origins

Automation Forge is built inside a real game production and nothing ships from it that has not first been used there.

That is the only quality gate we trust. A plugin written against an imagined project passes every test its author thought of. A plugin used to actually finish a scene fails in specific, unglamorous ways — the skeleton faces the wrong axis, the prop leaves the hand mid-montage, the face montage plays on the body mesh, the NPC cached its bark at spawn and never heard the new one.

Where a page in this wiki tells you something oddly specific, it is because the general version was wrong once, in a scene someone was trying to finish.

Trademarks

Unreal Engine is a trademark of Epic Games, Inc. Automation Forge is an independent product and is not endorsed by Epic Games, Inc.

Provider names — where they appear in integrations and on provider pages — are the trademarks of their respective owners, and are used to say what a route actually calls. No affiliation is implied.
